About this course

日本での学校生活を、もっと楽しく、もっと安心して過ごしてほしいという思いから、このコースを作りました。日本語が少し分かっていても、「友だちに何て話しかければいいの?」「一緒に遊びたいけれど勇気が出ない」と感じる子どもは少なくありません。このコースでは、「いっしょに遊ぼう」「入ってもいい?」「ありがとう」など、学校生活でよく使う日本語を、イラストやゲーム、ロールプレイを通して楽しく練習します。毎回「話せた!」「伝わった!」という成功体験を積み重ねながら、日本語で友だちと関わる楽しさと自信を育てます。

What you'll be able to do after this course

25分×10回のレッスンを修了すると、初めて会う友だちにあいさつや自己紹介をしたり、「いっしょに遊ぼう」「入ってもいい?」と声をかけたりできるようになります。また、好きなものや遊びたいこと、自分の気持ちを短い日本語で伝えたり、遊びの順番や簡単なルールを確認したりすることができます。さらに、「教えて」「手伝って」「ありがとう」「ごめんね」など、友だちと良い関係を築くための表現や、「やめて」「先生、来てください」と困ったときに助けを求める表現も身に付けます。最終回には、初めて会った友だちに自分から話しかけ、「いっしょに遊ぼう!」と誘ったり、「入ってもいい?」と遊びの輪に入ったりできることを目標とします。日本語を覚えるだけでなく、日本語で友だちと関わる楽しさを感じ、自信を持って学校生活を送るための第一歩となることを目指します。

Recommended for

日本の小学校やインターナショナルスクール、日本語補習校などに通う、6~12歳程度の入門~初級レベルのお子さんを対象としています。国籍は問いません。あいさつや簡単な単語は分かるものの、友だちとの会話にはまだ自信がないお子さんや、日本での学校生活を始める予定のお子さん、日本語で友だちを作りたいお子さんにおすすめのコースです。

Syllabus (10 lessons)

Lesson 1: Nice to Meet you! Let's Introduce Ourselves.

We will practice saying 'Nice to meet you', 'I am 〇〇', and 'Nice to meet you'. You will be able to greet a new friend and introduce yourself.

Lesson 2: What Do You Like? Let's Talk About Our Favorite Things.

We will practice asking 'What do you like?' and answering with 'I like 〇〇' and 'Me too!'. You will be able to ask what others like and talk about what you like.

Lesson 3: I Want to Play with My Friends!

We will practice phrases like 'Let's play together!', 'Can I join?', 'Sure!', and 'Of course!'. You will be able to invite friends to play and ask, "Can I join?" when your friends are playing.

Lesson 4: "One More Time!" Japanese for Playing with friends

We will practice saying, "My turn!!", "One more time!", "I did it!", and "Great!". While playing with friends, you will be able to express what you want to do and how you feel using short Japanese phrases.

Lesson 5: Let's Use "Kashite' and Iiyo"

We will practice phrases like "Can I borrow it?", "Sure!", "Wait a minute", and "Thank you." You will be able to use these phrases when borrowing and lending pencils and toys at school.

Lesson 6: What Should I Do When I Need Help?

We will practice phrases like "I don't understand", "Can you say that again?", "Please speak slowly", and 'What is this?'. You will be able to ask your friends to say something again when you don't understand and ask questions about things you don't know.

Lesson 7: "This Is Fun!" Let's Talk About Our Feelings

We will practice phrases like "This is fun!", I'm happy.", "I'm sad." "I don't like it." and "Are you okay?". You will be able to tell your friends how you feel and ask them, "Are you okay?"

Lesson 8: " What Are You Doing?" Let's Talk to Your Friends

We will practice phrases like "What are you doing?", "That looks fun!", "I want to do it too!", and "How do you do it?" You will be able to start a conversation with your friends, ask what they are doing, and tell them that you want to join you them.

Lesson 9: "Let's Play Again!" Let's Make Plans

We will practice saying 'Let's play later', 'Let's play tomorrow', and 'Let's play again'. You will be able to invite your friends to play and make plans to play together again.

10

Lesson 10: Challenge! Let's Make a New Friend

We will practice talking with a friend you meet for the first time using the Japanese you have learned so far. You will be able to greet a new friend, introduce yourself, talk about what you like, and invite them to play.
